About This Exhibition
Stewart Westle has established an enviable reputation for his individualistic and very recognisable style of approaching the landscape. Painting in bright, luscious oils to make images of places both familiar and iconic, Stewart travelled in 2009 to the deep southwest of Western Australia, taking in the Stirling Ranges and the beautiful bays from Albany to Denmark.
This exhibition is his first collection of uniquely Western Australian subject matter.
