John Graham
Wild At Heart

Feral Portrait With Cockatoo

About This Exhibition
Graham is an expressionist painter and his subject has remained the landscape and the figure.

Of his latest series featuring feral cats Graham states…
“In the Feral Cat series I seek to dignify without glorifying a much maligned creature whose notoriety is based purely on its ability to adapt and survive in any environment. The feral cat is a fine example of Darwin’s survival of the fittest and of human folly. The feral cat can be seen as a metaphor for the human race and its ability to colonise and prosper against the odds, in every environment on this planet”.
